# Status of NFT/SAFT

**Deposited**: NFTs created through [**I have tokens**](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-M_RH5atk_RU4XWQl39Y/s/-M_RHCn3YNKT0cf92HvI/c/HUvqHTCqg5XhDzX8lpN0/create-saft-nfts/i-have-tokens) have the status of 'Deposited', which means tokens to be vested are fully controlled by the NFT smart contract and will be automatically distributed in the future without human risks.

**Non-deposited**: NFTs created through [**I have a SAFT**](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-M_RH5atk_RU4XWQl39Y/s/-M_RHCn3YNKT0cf92HvI/c/HUvqHTCqg5XhDzX8lpN0/create-saft-nfts/i-have-a-saft) and not verified by the project team have the status of 'Non-deposited'. There are no tokens in NFT smart contract, neither the Verification from the team. Those NFTs can already be listed and sold in the Marketplace, but be **folded into the Unverified** category on the Marketplace to remind buyers to pay attention to risks. After the Verification done, those NFTs will be moved to the category in front on the Marketplace.

**Verified**: NFTs created through [**I have a SAFT**](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-M_RH5atk_RU4XWQl39Y/s/-M_RHCn3YNKT0cf92HvI/c/HUvqHTCqg5XhDzX8lpN0/create-saft-nfts/i-have-a-saft) and [**Verified**](https://app.gitbook.com/o/-M_RH5atk_RU4XWQl39Y/s/-M_RHCn3YNKT0cf92HvI/c/HUvqHTCqg5XhDzX8lpN0/manage-portfolio/saft-verification) by the project team have the status of 'Verified'. That means the project team acknowledges the behavior of the institution in advance and use the token creator's wallet to verify the NFT smart contract to make a promise that tokens will be transferred into the NFT smart contract. The buyer's risk can be greatly reduced with the Verification. However, the only risk there is that the project team does not transfer the token into the NFT contract according to the SAFT agreement. So, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH before the payment.
